Mused Artistry
After Care
What to expect

Day 1-4
Brows will darken, thicken and become warmer in color. Do not worry as brows will lighten and soften by 20%-30%

Day 5-12
Brows will lightly begin to flake. You may notice slight patchiness during this phase. Do not worry, this is normal! Do not pick at the scabs.

Day 13-20
Flaking will be finished and your brows may look very light or as if the pigment is gone. This is because the new layer of skin is regenerating itself and the pigment is muted underneath. Don’t panic!
Once you've passed your 20 days of healing, brows should be settled and transitioned into its true healed result. Any areas with little retention or lighter color will be touched up at your follow up session. If necessary, any slight adjustments to the shape or color will be done at the touch up.
How to wash
Step 1
Make sure hands are clean before touching your brows
Step 4
Rinse thoroughly to take off the cleanser. Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Pigment may transfer, don't worry!
Step 2
Wash your brows with the soap provided before bed after our appointment
Step 5
Apply a small rice grain amount of healing lotion to cover both brows. Apply up to 3x daily if skin is dry. Do not over saturate. It should not look like a thick coat of vaseline. Repeat cream for 10 days.
No washing
Step 3
Wet your brows with cool water. Gently pat in the cleanser provided, do not swipe back and forth or aggressively rub the brow.
Note
Be sure to save your after care products for your following touch up session.
What to avoid
-
Keep dry (besides washing) until completely healed. Aka no scabbing or flaking left! Usually 10 days.
-
Clients still need to keep dry in the shower... steamy hot showers will cause the pores to open and scabs soften, so to be cautious, no extra steamy hot showers!! Avoid the water ESPECIALLY shampoo and conditioner running down.. that'll cause color discoloration!
-
No excessive sweating
-
No sauna, hot tub, pool, ocean, etc.
-
Do not pick, rub, or scratch scabs! Avoid sleeping on face.
-
Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks
-
No anti aging or acne products on them ever!! Will cause fading very quickly. This is anything with chemical exfolliants such as Retinol, Glycolic Acid,Salisylic Acid, etc
